In this video, I am going to walk you through how to create a Sitecore Commerce Minion for Sitecore Experience Commerce (XC) 9 Update 2.

The Minions role is an instance of the Sitecore Commerce Engine that runs independently and supports asynchronous processing.

A Minion is used to perform scheduled tasks on lists.

MinionsAPI exposes artifacts and methods targeted toward any post-order capture processing and cleanup.

A policy is a named, versionable, and variable set of data that can be used as facts within behaviors to influence behavioral outcomes.
